LEAN WATER-MISCIBLE EGG TEMPERA
Add 1 part = content of the whole egg,
1 equal part of oil (linseed oil), plus 2 - 3 parts of water in a clean glass with a lid, one after the other, each time shaking vigorously.
The order of the ingredients needs to be followed, first egg, then oil, then water, otherwise the emulsion fails. Cleanliness and freshness of the egg are decisive for the quality and shelf life of the emulsion.
